Earth Day Nails

Happy Earth Day! It’s a beautiful day here in Wisconsin.
For this mani, I used a base of Glisten & Glow Mother Sea. I stamped using Zoya Nail Polish and Treatments Wyatt and MoYou Sci-fi 03.

Negative Space Rainbow Nail Art

Today's mani is a simple rainbow nail art look.

My stamping image only had 3 stripes for my rainbow so I chose to do primary colors. I think it would look cute with pastel colors as well.

Products used:
Zoya Pippa
Zoya Sooki
Zoya Sia
China Glaze Fairy Dust
MoYou Scholar Collection 05

Grey and Pink Flower Nails

For this mani, I used a base of Zoya Yuna. I love contrast in nail art so I added some girly flowers over top.

(Also, this is my last catch-up post. I'm hoping to be back to normal posting in April)

Rainy Day Nails

For these springy nails, I used a base of Zoya Sia. I stamped on some clouds and freehanded the ring finger design.

Green Plaid Nail Art

So this post is just a *wee* bit late. But life happens you know?

This green plaid nail art design was my mani for St. Patrick's Day.I did manage to get one in and a quick daytime shot of it.I used Zoya Jace for the base and did some double stamping for the plaid effect.

Normally I do a bunch of green manis for March, but time just got away from me!

Subtle Sparkle Nail Art

For today's manicure, I went with a subtle sparkly nail art design inspired by The Nail Network. She hasn't blogged in a long time, but I still wanted to give credit.

I used Zoya Hadley and Zoya Storm for this mani.

Valentine's Day Hearts | Zoya Everly

Valentine's Day is fast approaching. Do you celebrate? My husband and I like to have a nice dinner out, but we usually try for sometime during February. The date isn't super important :)

Today, I have a quick and sweet Valentine's Day theme manicure that I did.

I used Zoya Everly from the new Winter Holos collection for my base. After applying top coat and letting it fully dry, I used heart decals and Zoya Isla to complete my accent nail.

Everly has that formula that Zoya has in all their holographics. It went on easily in two coats and was easy to remove.

Sunday Football Nail Art

Anyone watching the Big Game today? We will be here. I'm not too interested in either team playing, but it's still a fun time and we've got a bunch of appetizers to munch on :)

Since I'm not rooting for either team, I went with just a generic football theme on my nails for today. I was easy to do, and I love them with matte top coat.

I used Zoya Jace and Zoya Emilia for my base. I added details using a white and yellow polish. After my fast dry top coat was applied and dry, I used Zoya's matte topcoat over the whole mani.

Mermaid Nails | Zoya Virginia

Wisconsin is currently having basically all of winter in one week at the moment. We had snow Wednesday. Today (Monday) we got tons more with blizzard like conditions at times, and Tuesday-Thursday our lows are going to be dangerously low.

Basically, it's the perfect time for a warm, mermaid themed mani!

I used Zoya Virginia as the main color accented with Zoya Levi. I stamped on the mermaid scales and added some gold studs as well.

Egyptian Style | Zoya Leighton

Hello all! 2019 hasn't had a great start.
I'm once again behind on posting, but I'm scheduling a bunch today so I should be able to catchup.

For today's mani, I started with Zoya Leighton. It's a gorgeous dark dark purple creme. It's not a one coater, but I think it could be when the bottle gets older.

I added some Egyptian themed stamping using MoYou Explorer 17

Pantone Color of the Year: Living Coral feat. Zoya Wendy

Today's mani is inspired by Pantone's Color of the Year: Living Coral.

I don't have a ton of coral polishes, but it's definitely a member of pink family that I enjoy more. After looking through my collection, I found Zoya Wendy which seems to be a really good match!

For this mani, I used Zoya Wendy as my main color. I added Zoya Cecilia for an accent.

On my ring finger, I started with a white base then did a smoosh technique with my stamper and all 3 polishes.

Winter/Christmas Nails 2018: Red and Green Bows

For today's manicure, I went with a simple color block style with a bow accent.

When I starting doing this manicure, I looked a bit like a mess. I should have had faith because it turned out really well and was super easy to do.
For my process, I started with a base coat. Then I painted half of my nail red using OPI I Love You Just Be-Cusco. For this next part, I highly recommend a very opaque polish, especially if you do it how I did. I took Zoya Wyatt and freehanded the block on top. Since Wyatt is so opaque, I only needed the one coat and it covered up my sloppy red block easily.

I finished this mani with these tiny bow gemstones.

Winter/Christmas Nails 2018: Santa Cats

Today's manicure is featuring this super adorable stamp from MoYou London. There's tons of cute images on there, but I decided to use this and keep the mani simple in order to keep it in the spotlight.

For the stamping, I used a base of Sally Hansen White On and stamped using Girly Bits Fire Engine Red. I painted my other nails Zoya Merida.

Winter/Christmas Nails 2018: Simple Christmas Tree Nails

Today's mani is super simple. I started with a green holographic polish. It's from an indie who is no longer around, but any green holographic (or polish for that matter) would do!
After applying top coat letting my polish fully dry, I used a ribbon style stencil and Zoya Chyna for the tree. I left the texture of Chyna there for something different.

I apologize for the lateness of this mani! I went to a Chicago Cubs game on August 5th and did this manicure for the game. Sooooo pretty late lol. Here it finally is though :)

Matte and Shiny Nail Art

Hello all! Sorry it's been a minute :) We've been super busy with back to school prep, appointments, car troubles, and fall craft fair prep for me. I will have some back logged posts coming at you today and the next few days.

For today's manicure, I did a mixed finish manicure. I really like how this turned out.

After applying Zoya Lidia (purple), I applied a fast dry top coat and then added Zoya's matte top coat on that. Then I stamped on top using Barry M Razzle Dazzle and the stamping plate below. To keep the mixed finish effect, I left the manicure as that.
I will note that the stamping did flake off a bit since it wasn't protected with top coat, but the overall look was totally worth it.

On my pinkie finger, I just applied Barry M Razzle Dazzle and top coat.

Magenta Rose Nail Art

Hello all! I'm back. We had family visiting for a few days, and then a few kid free days so I took a mini-staycation. I'm back with a new post today.

Artificial Lighting
For today's manicure, the focus is on Zoya Nana. Nana is a deep magenta pink color that's perfect for that transition from summer to fall. It applies nicely in two coats.

All the polishes I used for this manicure were Zoya Jace (for the leaves), Zoya Nana (for a base plus the roses), KBShimmer How You Dune? (for a base plus the polka dots), and Funky Fingers Gesso (for mixing with Nana for the rose detail).

Artificial Lighting
Rose manicures on some of my favorite to do because they are easy and beautiful

Matte Lace Nail Art Design

For today's manicure, I went with a lace design. I love the look of lace manicures, but I rarely do them. I debated going traditional using a nude base with the black stamping, but I thought a colored base would be really cool.

For the base, I used Wet n Wild Through the Grapevine. It's much more of a pinkish leaning purple than it shows here. This polish is from the Megalast line so it has a huge curved brush. I have smaller nails so I'm not a huge fan of the big brush.

After applying the stamping image, I added a fast dry topcoat to seal in the design. After that was dry, I added Zoya matte topcoat. I haven't used matte top coat in a while, and I love how it looks over lace nail designs.

The plate I used is from Born Pretty Story, and is BP-L020. It's full of a ton of different lace designs.
