Green March Mani: Day 5

For today's mani, I was inspired by @kimiko7878 on Instagram. She's pretty amazing, and you should definitely follow her if you don't already!

I am nowhere as talented as she is, but I did try my best with this mani. For some reason, my long 5 petaled flowers always turn out a bit goofy.

For this mani, I used two different green polishes: Zoya Cece and Nfu-Oh 66.
I used Zoya Cece on my index and pinkie nails as well as for the floral accents on my ring nail. I used Nfu-Oh 66 on my thumb and ring nails. It's super holographic, but it's one of those old school holos so it can pull the color when you're applying it. Still gorgeous!

St Patrick's Day: water marble and holo goodness

Here's another St. Patrick's Day mani that I did. It's also my last one so it's fitting that I'm showing you today.
I continued with my "theme" of not doing traditional designs but rather just sticking with green polish (which I LOVE!).

I've got Nfu-Oh 66 on my thumb, index, and pinkie fingers.
On my middle and ring fingers, I did a base of OPI My Boyfriend Scales Walls. I water marbled on top of that using OPI Don't Mess With OPI, SpaRitual Eye of the Beholder, and a tiny bit of Zoya Bevin.

New Year's Eve Bling

So this New Year's Eve is going to be pretty boring for me. In the past we've had friends come over, but this year they made other plans. My husband also volunteered to work the third shift at his job (with my permission!, but he'll earn a third shift bonus) so it's just me and the little man. Even so I still needed to bling my nails out even if it's just for myself!

On my ring finger and thumb, I used four coats of Barry M Limited Edition Effects Silver Glitter.  Then I added one coat of O.P.I. Crown Me Already.  The other fingers have a base of Nfu-Oh 66 followed by one coat of O.P.I. Crown Me Already.

Nfu-Oh 66 is such a beautiful holo. These pictures were all taken inside under artificial light, and it still shines!

These last two pictures were taken with my new macro lens for my iPhone. I still need to practice a bit, but the lens is really nice! You can see a close-up of the glitters I used for this mani.

I hope you all have a wonderful start to 2013! I know 2012 brought a lot of changes for my family (mostly good!), and I can't wait to see what 2013 brings.

Nfu-Oh 66

OMG! Sorry, but I'm super excited. I got this polish in the mail the other day. I am so in love. I'm not gonna say much because the pictures really do speak for themselves.

Nfu-Oh is a amazing linear green holo. I think holographic polishes are pretty cool, bu this one is the best because it's green! I used OPI Nail Envy for the base so it did drag a bit (apparently, with holographic polishes no base coat are best to minimize dragging), but I was able to fix it.

Just look at this! Drools.
