TARDIS roses

I think I may be allergic to single polish nails! I added some flowers to yesterday's LynBDesigns Time And Relative Dimension In Space.

I love love love these nails! They turned out simple gorgeous and were sooooo easy to do! I've been wanting to do flower designs all over the place, and these pretty pink roses really pop against the dark blue of TARDIS.

To do these nails, I painted on circle-ish shapes using Zoya Shelby. Next I added the highlights using Ulta Encore Pink. Finally I added on the green leaves using Sinful Colors Rise and Shine.  I let it dry for a while and then added top coat to seal everything in.

I couldn't stop staring at my nails the whole time I wore this! I can't wait to play with more rose designs in all the colors!

Raindrops Frogs

I decided to add some nail art to Illamasqua Raindrops. I went with this frog design, but I didn't follow the video and just freehanded base upon the picture.

My nails aren't quite long enough to do both the frog and the lily pads on the same nail so I split them up.  This could be a super cute design to add cover up tip wear by simply making sure the lily pads are on the tips only instead of by the cuticles like I did.

I used a ton of different colors for this design:
Light green: Sally Hansen Green with Envy
Green: Essie Mojito Madness
Light pink: Ulta Encore Pink
Pink: Pure Ice Peony
Wet N Wild Black Creme
Wet N Wild French White Creme

I used a small nail art brush for the whole design and it was super easy. I was a bit worried about the lily pads, but I just sorta did light pink blobs, outlined them in dark pink, and added some dark pink accents. They turned out great, but I love the one on my middle finger best. I do sorta like that the one on my pinkie kinda looks like a heart though <3

Monday Mani: Easter

This week's Monday Mani theme at PAA (Polish-aholics Anonymous) is Easter. I decided to go super cutesy for today's mani, and I love how it turned out. It was super fast to do too!

On my ring finger I used a base of 2 coats of Sinful Colors Candy Coated. The formula is really nice on this, and the dry time is decent considering it's a pastel.

On my index finger, I used a base of 3 coats of Sinful Colors Unicorn. Since it's a yellow and a pastel, dry time was pretty slow though the formula was decent.

I used 2 coats of Candeo Colors Jellybean on my other fingers. I knew I had to use Jellybean for this mani, because well the name is jellybean! Plus the yellow base matched Unicorn and the purple glitter matched Candy Coated.

I painted on the bunny and the chick shell using Rimmel French White Nail Tip Liner and just the brush from the bottle. The black details on both are done with Wet n Wild Black Creme and a nail art brush.

The chick's beak is Zoya Arizona, and I just used the brush that came with Arizona. The pink details on the bunny are Ulta Encore Pink, and I again just used the bottle brush to add in those.

I topped everything off with top coat after I let it dry for a while (to prevent dragging of the colors), and tada!

I love how this turned out!

Dollish Polish 1-Up

A while back, I managed to get quite a few Dollish Polish polishes. I love them all. I've already shown you all quite a few during the 31 day challenge, but I want to show you the rest.

For today, I have Dollish Polish 1-Up.

I layered it over Ulta Encore Pink and Zoya Bevin. While I do like it over Bevin, I really LOVE it over Encore Pink.

I know I've said it before, but get yourself some Dollish Polish if you don't already have some. The formula is great and the glitters are easy to put on: no digging or dabbing with these babies.

Onto the photos!

Here are the colors that I used:
Pinkie: Ulta Encore Pink
Ring: Pure Ice Twinkle
Middle: O.P.I. Stranger Tides
Index: China Glaze For Audrey
Thumb: China Glaze Light As Air

Monday Mani: Water Marble or Happy Birthday (to our fearless leader)

At Polish-aholics Anonymous this week's Monday Mani theme is Water Marble or Happy Birthday (to our fearless leader Krissi!).  I totally voted for the Happy Birthday theme even though Krissi posted it as a joke. In fact, lots of people voted for it! I've never water marbled before and really wanted to do cupcakes so I decided to go with the theme that I voted for!

I really love the way these turned out. They're super girly which is not really me, but I loved them all the same.

Here's a list of all the polishes I used.
Index, middle, and pinkie fingers: base coat is 2 coats of Disney Villains #40 Urusula, pink dots with Ulta Encore Pink, white dots with Rimmel French White Nail Tip Liner, and silver dots with Wet N Wild Metallica

Ring finger: base coat of 2 coats ELF Light Pink, cupcake liner with Disney Villains #40, pink stripes with Ulta Encore Pink, white frosting with Rimmel French White Nail Tip Liner, sprinkles with Wet N Wild Party of Five.

And believe it or not, all I used was a dotting tool! No brushes here!

Dotted flowers

So I meant to post this earlier in the week but time really just ran away from me.

I created this design for Chalkboard Nails dotting tool nail art contest.

I actually took photos of my right hand instead of my left hand since the top coat left tons of bubbles.

For the base coat, I used 2 coats of Zoya Bevin.  The flowers/dots are done with OPI Fly, Orly Purple Pleather, and Ulta Encore Pink.
